Empowering Florida

We're dedicated to hurricane education, community preparedness, & recovery support across Florida

Our mission is to bridge the gap between hurricane protection professionals and the public, helping families prepare, protect, and recover with confidence. We advocate for every family—regardless of income—to have access to life-saving resources, education, and tools to prepare for severe weather events.

Through early hurricane preparedness education, we can raise calmer, more capable children who help their families stay safe.”

Education Initiative: "Rosie and the Hurricane" Program

A Children’s Book That Builds Calm, Confident Families

Our first campaign distributes Rosie and the Hurricane to every K-2 classroom in Lee and Collier Counties. This bilingual children’s book teaches early hurricane awareness and helps families prepare together.

Impact Focus:

  • Printing and distribution of Rosie and the Hurricane

  • Bilingual learning inserts and teacher guides

  • Free classroom readings and preparedness workshops

  • Local logistics to deliver books directly to schools

When hurricanes strike, recovery doesn't end when the power comes back on. Our team brings decades of hurricane protection and construction industry experience to guide communities through equitable, long-term recovery.

We partner with local leaders, businesses, and organizations to ensure that rebuilidng efforts focus on safety, durability, and future mitigation, not just aesthetics.
